Sandy Walks began from something simple — a lifelong love for dogs and the joy they bring into everyday life.
Matthew grew up surrounded by dogs, learning early on how rewarding it is to care for them and to understand their unique personalities. Over the years, he realised that true dog care is about more than walks or feeding schedules — it’s about trust, consistency, and creating an environment where dogs feel safe and loved.

After an unfulfilling spell in the corporate world, he decided to turn that passion into something meaningful. Sandy Walks was created to offer thoughtful, reliable dog walking — a calm and personal service where every dog gets the attention, routine, and companionship they deserve, alongside creating a calm, safe, and personal alternative to large kennels — a place where every dog is treated like family.

Today, he walks and welcomes small groups of dogs into his home each day, offering mental and physical stimulation, playtime, and plenty of affection. For Matthew, the best part of what he does is seeing each dog settle in, relax, and wag their tail as if they never left home.
