ACCESSIBILITY COMMITMENT
At Sandy Walks, we are dedicated to making our website accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to ensure that all visitors can access and enjoy our site with ease and without barriers.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We have adapted this website in accordance with the WCAG 2.1 guidelines and made the site accessible to the level of AA.
This website’s content is compatible with assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation.
As part of this effort, we have:
-
Used the Wix Accessibility Wizard to identify and correct potential accessibility issues.
-
Set the default language of the site to English (with French content available).
-
Defined a clear and logical content order and heading structure across all pages.
-
Added alternative text to all meaningful images.
-
Applied color combinations that meet the required contrast ratios for readability.
-
Reduced the use of unnecessary motion or animation.
-
Ensured all files and downloadable content are accessible.
We continuously review and update the site to maintain and improve accessibility.

Some sections of this website rely on content provided by third parties that are not fully under our control.

We therefore declare partial compliance with accessibility standards for the following pages:
-
Any other pages containing embedded third-party widgets or external content.
Sandy Walks operates from a private residence in Sandweiler, Luxembourg.
While the main dog-walking activities take place outdoors in public spaces such as local streets, parks, and forest paths, drop-offs and pick-ups may occur at the residence. Visits are by appointment only.
Access to the property includes:
-
Street-level entry with stairs at the main entrance.
-
Parking available along the street nearby.
As walks are conducted entirely in public areas, accessibility for clients and dogs may vary depending on local conditions (e.g. pavement surfaces, slopes, or paths).
If you have specific accessibility needs or would like to discuss a suitable meeting point, please contact accessibility@sandywalks.lu in advance — reasonable arrangements can be made.
